The Berlin School of Dramatic Arts Ernst Busch is relocated to the building of the former theater workshops of Berlin by converting and extending it for this new purpose. The concrete skeleton of the structure is cut into in the middle of the building in order to create a new central foyer which is connected vertically to the roof. A projecting new addition to the front of the existing structure formulates the new entrance of the school. In the back of the building two new studio theater spaces are added which are connected to the foyer on the ground floor.
